Data Integration is the Extract Transform and Load (ETL) layer which provides for integration of multiple data sources using Microsoft Data Transform Services (DTS) into an aggregated SQL Server database.

Information can be collected from all parts of an organization including Billing, Financial, Payroll, HR, Budgets and A/R, while data sources may include various databases, Excel, XML and Flat files.

Data integration starts with data analysis and data cleansing. Disparate data sources with variable key structures are analyzed, compared and combined into a working relational data model that will be the basis for all ongoing analysis and reporting.

Data integration also provides the means for data management as well as the ability to create and update information such as holiday schedules, budgets, team structures and roles. Web based administration gives users a non-technical access to data management and data organization where they can create new data groups and update the existing ones.

Periodic data feeds are established to constantly and automatically retrieve and update the system with the most current information available.
